Build Confidence, Connection and Communication
Communication matters
Imagine being able to build trust quickly, communicate authentically, and handle challenging conversations with confidence.
Building genuine rapport with clients, colleagues, and new connections is vital.
Building genuine rapport with clients, colleagues, and new connections.
Handling difficult conversations calmly and confidently.
Communication is one of the most important skills we use every day, yet many people struggle when the stakes are high. When an important conversation arises, confidence can disappear, words become difficult to find, and self-doubt can take over.
You may find yourself:
- Rehearsing conversations in your head before they happen.
- Worrying about saying the wrong thing.
- Struggling to build rapport with new people.
- Avoiding difficult conversations altogether.
- Feeling confident with friends but less assured in professional settings.
- Walking away from conversations wishing you had expressed yourself differently.
The good news is that confident communication is not something people are born with. It is a skill that can be developed.
Through coaching, you’ll learn practical strategies to:
- Communicate clearly and confidently.
- Build stronger professional and personal relationships.
- Navigate challenging conversations with greater ease.
- Present yourself effectively in interviews and workplace discussions.
- Increase your confidence in networking and social situations.
- Reduce overthinking and become more present during conversations.
The goal isn’t to become someone else. It’s to communicate as your best self—confidently, authentically, and with purpose.
Whether you’re preparing for a career change, stepping into a leadership role, building your professional network, or simply wanting to feel more comfortable in everyday conversations, coaching can help you develop the skills and confidence to connect with others more effectively.
Imagine leaving conversations feeling proud of how you showed up, rather than replaying them in your mind afterwards.
That’s the power of confident communication.
I deliver interactive workshops that help professionals build stronger client relationships, communicate with confidence, and navigate difficult conversations effectively.
Participants learn practical techniques to build rapport, establish trust, manage conflict, and create positive outcomes in their work with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Customer Service Skills
We recently engaged Jessica Macdonald to provide customer service training tailored for our team. Jessica took great care in making sure the training would meet the needs of our business, by taking the time to understand our business and asking all the right questions. Her approach with the training was engaging, practical, and easy to follow, and she provided useful tools and materials for us to take away and use. Our team gained valuable skills that we could immediately apply and we are already seeing the benefits. Highly recommend Jessica Macdonald for businesses looking for a tailored, practical solution or anyone looking to improve their customer service skills!

Handling customer complaints
Had Jessica for a training session on handling customer complaints and found the training invaluable. She is an engaging presenter, skilful facilitator and can think on her feet to help solve issues by showing how the content of her training would apply. I had opportunity to apply the principles we learned DURING the training and found it easy and incredibly effective. I recommend her wholeheartedly for this type of training (Gavin Crossley).
Increased confidence
I can highly recommend Jessica to anyone seeking personal or professional direction, perspective and support. Her breadth of knowledge and ability to assimilate into my world was impressive – and that in turn helped enormously in terms of providing me with a new perspective, but also in building confidence in my decision making in both a personal and professional capacity.
I have always been somewhat sceptical of ‘Life Coaching’ – however after my experience with Jessica, I now see how it has contributed to my life in both a positive and constructive way. (Kate Marchbank)

About the presenter, Jessica Macdonald
I’ve learnt about communication through experience, not just theory. Working in healthcare, government, leadership, and coaching has given me countless opportunities to connect with people from different backgrounds, navigate difficult conversations, and build trust in challenging situations. I’ve also learnt a great deal from life’s everyday interactions—raising a family, blending a family, moving countries, building friendships, and starting a business. What I’ve discovered is that communication isn’t about being the most confident person in the room or always knowing the right thing to say. It’s about understanding people, building rapport, listening with curiosity, building trust and having the courage to say what matters. These are skills that can transform relationships, careers, and confidence, and they’re skills that anyone can learn.
